EC STUDENT ORGANIZATION AWARDS

This annual spring banquet recognizes Education City student organizations for their significant contributions to the Education City community during the current academic year.  All Education City student organizations are registered with Qatar Foundation Campus & Residence Life and must include membership from a minimum of two campuses.  Students may nominate their organizations in the following categories: EC Student Organization of the Year, EC Event of the Year, EC Service Project / Organization of the Year, EC Outstanding Educational Program, and EC Collaborative Program of the Year.  Award recipients not only receive a commemorative plaque but also have their organization name displayed in the Student Center for years to come.

On April 16, 2009 the following EC student organizations were honored for their outstanding work during the 2008-09 academic year: 

• EC Collaborative Program of the Year: EC Quiz Bowl by Education City Programming Board with Sparks Entertainment Group from CMUQ
• EC Outstanding Educational Program: Pink Hijab Day by Human Rights Student Organization
• EC Event of the Year: Capture Light 3 by Education City Photography Club
• EC Service Organization/Event of the Year: Education City Charity Trust
• EC Student Organization of the Year: Education City Programming Board

2009-2010 Awards Banquet
