EC STUDENT LEADER WORKSHOP

The Education City Student Leader Workshop is a joint initiative between Qatar Foundation Campus Life, the Academic Bridge Program, Carnegie Mellon University Qatar, Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar, Northwestern University in Qatar, Texas A&M University at Qatar, Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar, and Weill-Cornell Medical College in Qatar.

The purpose of this day long workshop is to help provide student organization members with valuable leadership training and guide new or returning Education City student organizations through the annual registration process.  The day includes several workshops on topics such as developing organizational mission and goals, recruiting and retaining members, planning events, etc. as well as a networking lunch to exchange ideas with other student leaders from across Education City.    

ECSLW 2009
