QF IT Department has three sections that work collectively to offer the desired services;

Client Service Desk (CSD):

The mission of the CSD section is to assist and enable our customers in achieving their departmental goals through the effective selection, management and use of information technology.

Supporting our mission, our goals are to:

  • Provide timely, accurate, and thorough resolutions for our customers and help to educate them along the way.
  • Apply  proactive support policies that limit downtime and promote efficiency.
  • Exceed our customers' expectations and remain committed to continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge, professionalism and competency in our staff and provide our team opportunities to excel.

Business Support Systems (BSS):

The IT Department provides information systems and solutions aligned with the needs of QF customers and stakeholders. An important part of QF IT services is the software applications portfolio that is available to customers. Equally important is the ability to share appropriate information among the QF organizations. It is our objective to work with our customers to establish realistic implementation schedules for approved application needs, and then to complete these implementations on time and within budget.

Operation Support Systems (OSS):

The IT Department provides technical services - networks, infrastructure and related support - to its customers and is working with the various organizations to ensure that the infrastructure is reliable and the network is flexible, scalable, and dynamic to be able to accommodate changes in both customer needs and the available technology.

Continuously assessing and upgrading business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities, providing capacity upgrades for QF networks, and seeking service improvements on a planned and published schedule that addresses the requirements of the QF organizations and maintains reliability and availability.
