MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY

In conjunction with other international service day initiatives, the annual Make A Difference Day (MADD) event strives to bring Education City students, faculty, and staff together to serve throughout the Doha community.  This event is sponsored and organized by the Education City Service Committee which is chaired by Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) and includes membership from Qatar Foundation Campus & Residence Life as well as students and staff from the six undergraduate universities in Education City and the Academic Bridge Program.  In an effort to encourage greater local participation in community service, volunteers register for one of several service projects located throughout Doha.  The event provides participants the opportunity to give back and meet fellow members of the Education City community.  All volunteers receive a free lunch and t-shirt to commemorate the event. 



MADD 2009
