If a student did not qualify for a Qatar Foundation financial aid loan, can he/she get a bank loan to pay his/her tuition costs?
The Financial Aid Office awards need-based loans only. However, you could seek financial assistance from commercial banks.

SCHOLARSHIP


Qatar Foundation and the branch campuses award each year a limited number of merit scholarships. The scholarship program enables Education City universities to award full-tuition merit scholarships to a few undergraduates with outstanding academic qualifications. Awardees are selected from among the undergraduate students on the basis of top academic achievement alone; hence no application for merit scholarships is required.

The number of Qatar Foundation scholarships awarded has grown to their present level thanks to generous donations from prominent individuals, private and public institutions.
