Education City Regional Counselors Program

Every year, Qatar Foundation and the branch campuses invite twenty five school administrators from the region to visit Education City for a couple of days, usually at the end of January. The purpose is to give counselors and educational advisors an understanding of the Education City community so that they can pass on their insights to students considering their higher education options. Counselors interested in attending this program in 2009 should send an email to outreach@qf.org.qa

Doha Counselors Day

The Doha Counselors Day is held annually to encourage continuous communication and interaction between educators in the field of admissions, recruitment and counseling.  This year's program included admissions case studies and a panel discussion led by Doha school counselors.

Counselors Workshops

Qatar Foundation and the branch campuses are working on developing a network, of secondary school counselors and other individuals, to be involved in advising students in their transition from high school to university. As part of this initiative there will be programs and workshops for secondary school counselors and admissions professionals in Doha.
