Recreational Facilities

Recreational Facilities provides a broad spectrum of sports and recreational activities for the Qatar Foundation community, including the following:

• green floor multipurpose gym
• fitness room
• weight room
• tennis court
• outdoor basketball court
• football field
• squash court
• running track and field
• playgrounds
• Olympic swimming pool
• training/splash pool

Social Facilities

Social Facilities is responsible for the planning and development of Education City community activities, operation of the social facilities and management of the implant businesses housed in the Education City Community Center. Social Facilities include the social center, bank, courier services, mini-mart, bookstore, travel agency and other community support businesses. Planning for future Social Facilities is ongoing.

Safety

Qatar Foundation's Facilities Management Department aims to provide a physically safe healthy and secure learning and working environment for all students, staff, contractors and visitors by establishing an Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OSHE) section. OHSE will help provide the resources and administrative support functions to ensure that workplace actions do not adversely affect and endanger the health and safety of others.
