LEADERS IN RESIDENCE

Housing and Residence Life, offers a leadership program each year for students interested in strengthening their leadership abilities. Students who participate in the program undergo experiential-based skills training, in topics such as communication, organizational skills, problem solving, and the importance of service in community. The focus of the course is to address two primary questions regarding leadership:

• What are some of the essential components of leadership?
• Why is leadership important and where will it take us?
