Introduction

The Public Relations and Marketing Department is committed to serving the mission of the Qatar Foundation and its many partners and projects. We aim to do that by helping to articulate the vision that underlies that mission and to communicate it clearly and powerfully to a broad audience.

The objectives of the Public Relations and Marketing Department are:

  • To build local, regional and international awareness of Qatar Foundation, its projects and its organizations;
  • To launch and execute the marketing and public relations of Qatar Foundation's flagship project, Education City;
  • To partner with key stakeholders to strengthen Qatar Foundation's brand image and relationships;

We are achieving those goals by managing both internal and external communications, building awareness of Qatar Foundation activities through print and electronic media that will reach both Arabic- and English-speaking audiences. We are implementing an effective branding scheme, building partnerships with important stakeholders, sponsoring cultural events and communicating our mission regionally and internationally at conferences and exhibitions.

Our professional staff coordinates public relations and marketing efforts with Qatar Foundation's partners and affiliated centers.

The Public Relations and Marketing Department is also charged with monitoring and evaluating local, regional and international media coverage of Qatar Foundation, and with commissioning regular image surveys of Qatar Foundation among local, regional and international constituencies.

Our mission, in short, is to show the world what Qatar Foundation is doing. In achieving that, we will highlight Qatar Foundation's vision for Qatar's future -- a progressive, knowledge-based society that hosts world-class institutions of learning and research.
