What is the focus of Qatar Foundation’s community activities?
The Qatar Foundation recognizes that the future of the country and indeed the world rests with children. The bulk of the activities of the Foundation are directed towards the education, development, health and wellbeing of children. Currently in addition to education activities the Qatar Foundation is involved in family studies and development, social development, children’s education through its own television station and health promotion specifically targeting women and children.

What kind of universities will be coming next to Education City? From which countries and in what fields?
Education City’s goal is to provide world-class university opportunities in Qatar. The six campuses at Education City are campuses of some of the most prestigious universities in the United States offering degrees across major study areas. Qatar Foundation plans to expand the options for students wishing to study at Education City by continue to partner with high-quality institutions.
