
Qatar Foundation provides high school and university graduates with training for a target job placement within the Foundation. Through the Career Development Plan, we place our trainees in various functional areas across the organization either at Head Office or at any of our centers, partners and affiliates.
A Career Development Plan includes on-the-job-training, job assignments, and formal classroom internal and/or external training. It can take from twelve to twenty-four months to complete.
Training may involve rotations within departments to learn other facets of the business. This enables the trainee to learn at first-hand the challenges of the business and to help with his/her advancement. Once the Career Development Plan is successfully completed, the trainee has the opportunity to become a full time employee in his/her targeted position. More than forty trainees successfully enrolled on the Program in 2007.
We give priority to Qatari nationals to undertake this program.
