Mission

Together with partners, volunteers, and local communities, ROTA works to ensure that people affected by crisis across Asia and the Middle East have continuous access to relevant and high-quality primary and secondary education.

Vision

ROTA envisages a world in which all young people have access to the education they need in order to realize their full potential and shape the development of their communities.

What we do: ROTAs pathway to achieving this vision and mission is through enhancing skills development, using sports as a tool for education, integrating environment education, and revitalizing the use of Arabic. In the coming years, ROTA will strive to deliver on its mission through becoming a pioneering and top ranked Qatari NGO with a significant donor and partnership base, directly supporting education programs in Asia and the Middle East.

Our approach focuses on promoting and investing in access to quality education and in the development of human resources, in close partnership with local and international communities. We apply the following programs to accomplish our goals:

Community Development Program: ROTA’s community development strategy supports the establishment of a secure and stable society operating on the principles of justice and equality. By Investing in the strengths and knowledge of the various communities in Qatar, the Program aims to encourage the spirit of volunteerism and encourage involvement of youth in community development both in and outside Qatar.

International Program: Our team works closely with partners, local communities, and other stakeholders to increase access to quality primary and secondary education. We do this by listening to real needs; building on local expertise; sharing good practices; providing relevant skills; and adopting practical, innovative and sustainable solutions to obstacles that prevent young people in crisis-prone and post-crisis settings from obtaining the quality education to which they are entitled..

On-Line Education program: Continuing with its effort to harness the power of new technologies to support solutions to education challenges and link communities of educators, ROTA established a sustainable, connective and collaborative online learning community, with access to international educational resources, which dissolves barriers and leads to a better quality of education and life within Asia.
